Why use Ethereum at Duel

Ethereum at Duel works the same as any ETH wallet transaction. The main consideration is gas, network fees vary from $1 in calm times to $30+ during high-demand events. Check current gas costs before depositing small amounts.

For ETH-native users, the convenience is unbeatable. For small play, alternative networks (Solana, Tron, BSC) are cheaper.

Ethereum-specific things to get right

  • Check gas (gwei) before you send. At a busy moment, gas on a $10 deposit can cost more than the deposit itself, wait for a calmer window or use a cheaper method.
  • Use Ethereum mainnet unless Duel's dialog explicitly offers an L2, sending on Arbitrum/Optimism to a mainnet address loses funds.
  • ERC-20 tokens need ETH for gas. Keep a little ETH in the wallet to cover the transfer.
  • Below $10 isn't credited. Triple-check the address before confirming.

Speed observations from our tests

We ran withdrawal tests at varying amounts. Ethereum confirmed in 1–3 minutes in calm conditions; during a high-gas window one test took 6 minutes and cost notably more.

FAQ

Why are Ethereum deposit fees sometimes high?

ETH transfers pay gas, which floats with network demand, from about $1 in calm periods to $30+ during busy events. Check current gas before depositing small amounts.

Is a small ETH deposit worth it?

Often not, if gas is high, a $10 deposit can cost more in fees than it's worth. Use Solana, Tron or BSC for small play, or wait for lower gas.

Can I deposit USDT or USDC from the same ETH wallet?

Yes. ERC-20 tokens send from the same wallet, but each transfer still needs a little ETH for gas.

Are there platform fees on ETH?

No, Duel charges zero platform fees. You pay only the Ethereum network gas.
